Nowadays kids or 'pre-teens' (of about 10-14 years) seem so different to what I used to be like when I was their age.
They don't depend on their families that much and they have their own points of view, it seems great, isn't it?
Well let me tell you something, IT ISN'T!
They don't get most of their points of view from their families (as I said before) or either from themselves (some of them), where do they get that ideas then?
Fucking TV, magazines, internet and also friends (even though sometimes it can have a positive aspect, most of the times, it doesn't)
And what are those GREAT ideas they have?
-Drugs are cool
-The skinnier, the better
-Getting wasted it's awesome
-The earlier you have sex with someone the cooler you look
-Smoking is fun
(and a lot more)
Do you wanna know what I was doing around that age?
I was playing fucking minesweeper, drawing, painting, reading, watching cartoons, BEING INNOCENT, what the heck!
I didn't understand what the word 'porn' mean neither 'sex', 'masturbate', 'marijuana', 'cocaine' (drugs in general), 'self-harm', 'depression'...
I also remember that when it was my birthday or Christmas and I got presents such as dolls, action figures, random board games, books, crayons... I didn't ask for expensive stuff or electronic (even though I got some) ... and also about this presents... i just have like 5 or even less (which it meant a lot to me) and now if you don't get more than 10, they don't care about you (?)
Let's also talk about trends... make-up?
I guess you can start wearing make-up when the fuck you want to but... being honest it feels weird to me seeing 13-14 year old girls wearing more make-up than a teenager use on a normal basis (personally iI can't stand make-up. I feel more insecure wearing it so I don't, but I don't mind people using it. It looks great when it's not too excessive)
What about fashion?
I'm not gonna complain about the fashions trends (I don't enjoy them but it's OK) as they look really good on determinate people but when I was young I was wearing not really fashionable clothes which even though they're not 'cool' the bring me back to good memories...
now kids wear the clothes which are trendy on teenagers and young adults.
Girl wear top crops, mini skirts, thongs, push up bras, extremely short shorts, leggings... (seriously? STOP IT, it feels nasty. Anyone finds sexually attractive an 12 year old just because of wearing this let me tell you... eww)
I remember boys wearing the whole time tracksuits... but now they have became more mature about what they're wearing, they care more which I'm not gonna complain... this is a good point but their personality, gives them away... it's annoying because they think they're the coolest guy just because of how they dress or how many girls they can make out with...
To me it's seem that this fashion in actual teenagers don't feel that flirtatious/sexual as in pre-teens actually does.
By the way I'm not doing this stamp to get positive/negative comments I just need to say what I feel.
Even though this reality it's fucking sad.
I hope if you're reading this and you're between 10-14 that you don't do anything of the things I've said... I need to think that in this whole fucked up generation and the future ones some people can be still be different.

Sorry but not everyone lives in a nice neighborhood with nice people and have parents that protect them from ever "bad" thing there is.
When all your friends smoke, drink, do and sell drugs, have sex, you as a kid dont know better, you do that same shit.
I am older than you and I have been on dumb shit when I was yuong so not sure why youre acting like this is a "new" thing that wasnt happening when you were a "preteen" (youre fucking 17 so its not like it was THAT long ago)
