As some people were misunderstanding the meaning of this stamp, I'll explain it:

When you're trying really hard to be the best artist or be better than [random artist], you get stressed, angry, and you don't feel excited by creating art.
So, what you have to do is create anything that you enjoy, it might be shitty... yeah, but if you're having fun, it's all that matters
and by the way, I'm sure that if you don't stop painting, drawing whatever you enjoy you'll improve

Wish this was true, but it isn't. Everyone on this website (and the rest of the internet) is in direct competition with you, competing for views, faves, watches and attention. That doesn't mean you can't make friends with other artists, or support others. Competition isn't necessarily a bad thing.


Maybe this would be true if you are just wanting to draw as a hobby, for the fun of it, or as a way to cope with stress. But not if your art is important to your career, or meeting personal goals in life.
